We're not born as leaders - we learn as we go and we also learn what we like or don't like - which environments we thrive, which hurt our creativity.
If something doesn’t feel right, speak up. This is the hardest one. Your team is looking up to you and your actions speak louder than your words.
Not every decision will be understood, but provide the right context at all times. This is key to support and guide the team into the future direction of the company. And that means sometimes, you might not be the one if it is not aligned with your own core values.
Each day as a PMM leader, do what is best for your team members and guide them on their career path. It is important to have the team and company’s interest at heart.
Here are 4 questions that I ask my mentees and team members to bring their best authentic selves every day and in every moment at work and life. There are no right or wrong answers. A diverse perspective can open doors to conversations and spark new ideas with creative brainstorming.
