Radically content is a way of life.
Defining success for you. Being happy in the simplicity of your life.
In the book Radically Content, it's choosing to opt out of society’s conditioning. Having your own value system. Stopping to compare. Loving yourself. Caring what you think about yourself, not what other people think about you.
The opt out is radical freedom.
Now this is easier said than done. Not every day is going to be content and navigating life's challenges is part of the journey called life.
Learning how to be happy not when but now - is the real work of life. Not when at all lines up, but right now in the messiness of being alive.
The most important opportunity is right in front of us: finding a way to be happy right now right here, exactly rooted in what our life currently is.
No when. No if. Not someday.
I was able to create a life I wanted. Not the life I thought would be impressive, but the life that felt wonderful to me.
I want to be in alignment with what is meant for me.
Without healing, there is only the suppression or repression of emotions.
Life happens. Healing and continuing to heal means accepting and feeling all of it. It's what we do with the uncertainty that creates the well-being.
When we are no longer terrified of failure, rejection, disappointment, sadness, grief, any of it - that's when we are on the path to healing.
Happiness can come and go.
Letting what happens happen, and knowing you are always at home with yourself, that you can always heal through anything that comes up.
A rejection means a redirection.
Your life is here. Right now.
What's meant for you, will be.
Self-love asks us to unveil the shadows within us. It asks us to redefine who we are to ourselves.
How do you define success?
What makes you happiest?
Live a life with awareness and intention. Whatever you spend your time, money, and energy on is what you have actively chosen to have in your life.
The wildflowers are in bloom, getting ready for spring to arrive. After many days, I finally went for a mindful walk at the Heron's Head Park. We started to envision in person mindful core programs here right next to the bay.

Full moon ritual 🌕
There's something very calming about watching a full moon. I got to experience a full moon ritual with artists and culture bearers in the Bayview in San Francisco.
The full moon in January is the Wolf Moon. At first, we didn't know what to expect but we decided to show up anyway. And we celebrated as a community creating cozy home lanterns. Decorating our tiny homes and adding wishes of love and happiness.
And it's interesting we were talking about homes in the afternoon and here we are manifesting our dreams and homes. And to think how it is, considering wildfires in LA where folks have lost their homes. Heartbreaking.
We even said goodbyes and gratitude for the folks and lives that left us in the past year. RIP beautiful souls.

Full moon 🌕
Sunset, pink sky and full moon
I'm grateful to see the morning sunrise.

I'm grateful to connect and empower folks who believe in what I believe in.
After many weeks of 1-2 people, we had 10 folks join us to volunteer at the Bayview 3rd Street clean up and that felt promising. It was a nice surprise to read the messages from the universe.

I'm grateful to be able to experiment and try new recipes and share with friends. Cocinar es amor ❣️

I'm grateful to be alive, living one day at a time. Grateful to mi gente who check in. I appreciate you 🙏
