Practice Gentleness, One Moment at a Time
My response to #PracticingGentleness month | Nov 2022
Excited to collaborate on the creative energy for #PracticingGentleness
in Nov 2022. Thanks Bingz for this unique opportunity.
Folks who know me are not surprised that I chose Nov 21 to
share my post, continuing my lovingkindness for 21.
When I think about true gentleness, lovingkindness, compassion, self-care and equanimity are words that come to mind.
As I embarked on a road less traveled, I am amazed by the gentleness in the world, amidst the chaos and struggles. I am hopeful that we can bring the good in all of us, once we set the right intention.
Cheers to the kind and mindful souls out there.
You are making a difference and being a voice for the unspoken.
Gentleness in Nature
When I think about the word Gentle, nature comes to mind first with simple flowers creating their own mark in the world.
Here are my collection of flowers that practice gentleness every day. And I am blessed to capture this moment in time.

Next time, you are in nature, pay attention to your surroundings. Breathe in the fresh and crisp air. Gentleness is right within your reach only if you care to take the time to notice. Nature is our best friend to help us slow down and feel the loving kindness every step of the way. Isn’t this beautiful and one worth cherishing forever?

Gentleness at Home
We don’t need to go too far to practice gentleness. It’s the small things that can create a butterfly effect of change. It starts right here at home.
How you start and end your day can tell a lot about you. Are you rushing through the morning routine - just to get to work or school and worried that you don’t have enough time in the day to do everything?
Stop, pause and breathe.
This constant need to be somewhere and be someone can be taxing and you may not pay attention to the signs of burnout. Please, be gentle to yourself and practice compassion and self-care. It can go a long way. I am a living example of how slowing down has given me a productivity boost once I focused on what truly matters. Focus!
Gentleness at Work or School
Whether you are working or attending school, take the time to understand the goals and include time to rest and reflect. This will help you to be the best self and always have the right aura and energy at all times.
This shift in mindset can make or break your career. Make it count. Set the right intention to practice gentleness in any way you can. It will be so worth it at the end.
Your efforts matter and why you do matters the most. Bring the best in you, your team and group as a collective. The creativity flow of ideas will make magic happen. Trust me, this is the best place to be at work or school.
What’s Next?
Let’s continue to build on this idea to practice gentleness and carry it with lovingkindness to our homes and workplaces on Thanksgiving and beyond as we wrap up 2022 and welcome 2023. Our kind and mindful souls are more connected than ever and it’s up to each of us to be the change we wish to see in the world.
I am looking forward to embrace your gentleness and lovingkindess one moment at a time. Thank you!
