I breathe in fresh air. Mi gente wishing happy new year…
Loved this idea from a thoughtful message on LinkedIn
Hi Div,
As we look ahead to a new year, I’ve been thinking about what actually creates a sense of fulfillment—not just in our work, but in how we show up, grow, and support one another. Here’s the “recipe” I’m aiming for in 2026, and sharing, hoping it resonates with you too.
Wishing you a deeply fulfilling 2026—a year grounded in growth, clarity, and momentum, with room for meaningful connections and a sprinkle of unexpected magic.
The right time is now
What a wonderful message on a t-shirt from my mom.
Love these two messages from Instagram on meaning …

Meaning isn't something you find — it's something you grow. Each day is small, but full.
When you live for presence, not achievement, mornings get easier. Meaning isn't "why live?” It's “what feels alive right now?”
A practice from Osaka University: each evening, name three moments you felt alive.
The smell of rain. A kind smile. The warmth of a cup of tea. After a few weeks, you stop waiting for meaning and start noticing it.
This feels more something I could do than gratitude journal.. to think of the moments I feel alive, not everyday but monthly perhaps …
And as I practice Insight Timer challenge of setting intention this month, this thought resonates with me.
Setting an intention is about making a decision about who you want to be and how you choose to show up. Overtime, those choices become change. Let's begin.
I will trust my calm over my fear.
I noticed during my trip to India this time that I was open to my feelings and not allowing things that make me uncomfortable anymore. The loud noises and crowds in festivals always startled me. I couldn't explain before but now I know that I can walk away if it doesn't feel right.
It was beautiful walking into a peaceful Lotus Temple in the evening.
It reminded me of the calm in the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
As I completed the first leg of my journey home, I practiced Joy on Insight Timer. It made me realize that I didn't have to wait at the airport and could explore Dubai.
What if Joy is easier than you ever imagined?
What if Joy is all around you everywhere?
Open your heart and soul to infinite Joy!
Today, I will look for something that makes my heart smile.
Isn't this a beautiful thought? It made me shift from my fear to smile. I opened up Google maps and I found a miracle garden to explore and a butterfly garden right next to it. What are the odds..
And there's nothing that can make me smile more than a beautiful flower or a butterfly.

And after, I went to the Dubai Mall and saw the Burj Khalifa lights and fountain show at 6pm, before heading to the airport via metro. Not fun being in a crowded Metro, but I made it out okay. Breathe in n out.
And now that I'm home in SF, I'm glad my plants were ok for a month. Excited to be back to volunteer at the Bayview 3rd Street cleanup, mentor, teach product marketing, and practice mindful motivation with my community. To find meaning in my everyday actions and to smile in 2026.
Today I will let things unfold in their own time.

Absolutely breathtaking pics and amazing message for 2026 Div! Can't wait to catch up with you! Welcome home!
